Fiji is a young archen. Hatched in the Prismatic Jungle, she and her family nested up in the trees, far from the hungry jaws of the pokemon who hunted on the ground. During a thunderstorm, she fell from the nest. Unable to climb or fly back up, she was stranded on the ground, and her parents regrettably left her for dead--after all, the jungle was the place of the strong, and a pokemon who couldn't hold onto her own nest wouldn't survive for long.
However, she did survive for quite a while. Relying mainly on speed, carefulness, and small size, she managed a pitiful life by foraging and hiding. She slept and ate less than the healthy amount, but she was alive nonetheless.
Then one day, when it seemed that the end was near, she was found and rescued by Stark. The two traveled to Tao Village, and she felt the soothing comforts of civilization for the first time.
Yet her savage, fear-ridden past still haunts her. She's still a frail, fearful thing, and seems to be very afraid of heights, lightning, and thunder, and is shy or even fearful around most large dragon-like pokemon (except Stark, of course). She's known to be a bit loony and is sometimes caught talking to herself. However, despite her flaws and her harsh past, Fiji has a pure heart. She sees the good in everyone and enjoys helping others; after all, no one should have to go through the hell she had growing up.
Stark the aerodactyl was born into a wealthy family. However, he was always quite modest, and took up a job as a scholar, living in a cliff cave by the bay. However, he grew tired of seeing the same sights every day, and reading about adventures but never experiencing one. And he grew sad when he heard word of the pokemon being scared of the fearsome aerodactyl who lived in the cliffs. Sure, he had a temper, but he'd never hurt anyone... who didn't deserve it. He was really quite a nice guy, once you got to know him.
He made a decision to leave his home in search of adventure and a place that would accept him. He went to the Prismatic Jungle after hearing that it harbored many reptilian pokemon like himself. Yet it was nothing like he expected; the place was savage, and it disgusted him. He did, however, find a friend, one who was scared of him but seemed to warm up after seeing that he wasn't actually a savage. It was a small archen that was about to be eaten--she looked half-starved, the poor thing. And he was later taken by the little one's big heart. It set an example for him, he thought. The two went to Tao Village, where they both found a home that accepted them and a place to help others who needed it.
Stark is bold and brave. He isn't afraid to stand up for those he cares about and what he thinks is right. Particularly, he sees him as a protector of Fiji. As such, he's quick to insult or anger, and Fiji is often the voice of reason telling him to calm down. Apart from this, though, he holds up a calm front and is actually somewhat wise and quite nice, despite the message his toothy grin sends.
want to cameo your team?
oh man guys, FINALLY. This thing took ages, and although I had no idea what I was doing when it came to Stark (particularly his wings), I'm really pleased with how this turned out! And I'm really excited for the mission, I'm in love with these two already, and I hope you guys like 'em too!
